Ground source heat pumps Yorkshire

Heating and hot water from 2 Dimplex ground source heat pumps in Yorkshire

On this ground source heat pump project in Yorkshire available ground space meant that boreholes would be required. An initial review of the Sherwood sandstone geology indicated that conductivity would be good. Archaeological remains and trees would have to be considered.

Once heating loads were established, a ground loop modelling exercise was undertaken to confirm the number of boreholes required to serve the two Dimplex SI30TE heat pumps.  Geowarmth drilled 10 boreholes in the grounds.

The ground source heat pumps are providing space heating via underfloor heating and domestic hot water.  Solar thermal panels also link in to the domestic hot water system.

Geowarmth have undertaken a range of domestic and commercial heat pump installations in Leeds, York, Hull and throughout Yorkshire.
