Air source heat pumps Middlesbrough Teesside

Multiple heat pumps provide underfloor heating for a new hospital in Middlesbrough Teesside

Five Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pumps have been linked together by Geowarmth to provide heating for an underfloor heating system at a new hospital in Middlesbrough.  The combined thermal output of these heat pumps is 70kW.

The Ecodan heat pump range is suitable for both small and large applications and is fully scalable up to 688kW.

The larger Ecodan CAHV unit when installed as a multiple unit system can cascade units on and off to meet the load from a building.  Up to 16 units can be installed together.

North East based Geowarmth have done numerous multiple air and ground source heat pump schemes in Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Cleveland, North Yorkshire and beyond in both commercial applications such as this Teesside hospital as well as domestic schemes.  Geowarmth’s portfolio of renewable heating installations in the medical and vetinary sector includes schemes in Newcastle, Morpeth, Penrith, Manchester, Sunderland and Chester le Street.
