Air Source Heat Pump Dumfries

New build detached house heated with Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump

A renewable energy installation by Geowarmth was always planned as part of this project for a new build detached house in Dumfries and Galloway.  The alternative fuel would have been oil or lpg which would have incurred much larger running costs and not qualify for the Renewable Heat Incentive.  The heat pump is a 14kW Mitsubishi Ecodan.  A 300 litre mains pressure unvented domestic hot water cylinder looks after the family’s domestic hot water needs.  Heating is via underfloor heating to the ground floor and radiators and towel rails to the first floor, all installed by Geowarmth.  The two floors are configured as two separate heating circuits allowing independent control of heating times on each floor.

This is one or many renewable energy heating systems Geowarmth have installed in Dumfries and Galloway, Scottish Borders and elsewhere in Scotland.
